We got up for work at some ungodly hour this morning and as we headed out to defrost the cars we realised there was no way in hell we'd be getting to work today. Thanks snow, we really wanted to not get paid today! We decided to make the best of the situation and go out and play in the snow. We helped the kids of the village with their giant snowman and had a snowball fight and I fell over lots. We are definitely not winter people though so we hurried home to have a hot chocolate next to the fire and spend the rest of the day in our pyjamas watching netflix.
Have you had snow where you live? Did everything grind to a hault or were you still able to get out and about?
xoxox
I was up at 6:30 and dressed for work when they called to say they didn't need me in. Que me going to Tesco at 7:30am instead :D now in my pjs too ^_^

DeleteLuckily hubby and I can work from home, but everything has ground to a halt here in the South West. Snow looks pretty for all of 5 minutes then causes havoc with ice for the next fortnight. I hate the stuff! I am the snow killjoy! ;)
ReplyDeleteI normally hate it too, but once in a while for a day I'll put up with it xo
DeleteOh man! You've got LOADS of snow! We've got snow but it's not very thick :(

Weird how we live so close but it's so different, when I headed in to work I was amazed by how little canford cliffs had x
DeleteThis is when I really miss living in the countryside. Granted it's rubbish beind stranded, but there's no chance of me building a snowman in London, unless he's mini sized :) x
