Paris in spring time

I took my mum to Paris last year as a birthday suprise and it was such a lovely time that I wanted to share some of the photos I took with you all. Paris is such a beautiful place to visit and such a quick trip on the eurostar from London and tickets go down to £69 in the sale quite often so it's really affordable too. If you've got some spare pennies I definitely recommend going for a day or two. Luckily I've spent quite a lot of time in France growing up, it's such a different country to England yet so close and I'm so honoured that I've been able to explore it. There is nothing in England that compares to sitting on the steps to sacre couer with a drink in the sunshine listening to all the musicians and watching the hustle and bustle of the city beneath you.

Have you ever been to France? What's your favourite part?
Have you been to Paris?

  6. I can’t believe you did Paris in a day!! My favourite thing about paris is its beauty and elegance! I went for three weeks and still wanted to stay longer! I went with my sister last year in may, we booked one of the serviced apartments paris offers for three weeks and had the time of our lives! We did all the things you did, but we always ended up queuing for tickets as we just did things spontaneously! After about a week and a half of site seeing we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves!

My favourite thing to do was just to grab a freshly baked baguettes, some authentic french brie and people watch in Luxembourg gardens! Utter Bliss!!

  10. I adore Paris, it is such a gorgeous city and behind all tourist attractions there are some absolute gorgeous little back streets with beautiful cafes and restaurants for a decent priced meal (many have a set meal for 15 euros). I guess I'm lucky that my Auntie lives in Paris so she knows all the places you wouldn't on a tourist guide which I absolutely love! The Sacre Coeur is still possibly my favourite spot though, I absolutely love the view and the building is divine. Ahh how this post makes me want to go back! xo

  13. Paris in the Springtime is fab - Cole Porter even wrote a song about it! I have been on numerous occasions and I am going back there this May on a ma-hoo-sive family trip which involves family members coming from all 4 corners of the globe and meeting in Paris. I cannot wait and your photos have just increased my excitement!

  15. Gorgeous pictures <3 I'd love to go to Paris again and see the sights properly (my main experience of the city is a day trip there when we were staying in Disneyland's resort... don't think it really counts!)

  17. Lovely pictures of Paris!! You have captured the reality that Paris is most certainly the place to spend Valentine’s Day, and also a good destination in the springtime. My wife, Jean, and I have many fond memories of the City of Light. Checkout our pics at: http://frametoframe.ca/photo-essay-paris-spring-time/

  19. My boyfriend and I went to Paris on our first holiday together, after a few months of being together.

It was freeezing cold and icy (I kept falling over!) but stunning, and we had such a great time. We walked for miles and miles, trying to see as much as possible while we were there. We stayed for 4 nights which gave us plenty of time, and by the end of it our feet were aching but it was worth it.

I'm not sure if we would ever go back, as there are so many places we want to visit, but I'd quite like a cheeky trip to Disneyland one day.

Your photos are stunning. You're so pretty!x
